Matthew 11:28^‍

²⁸Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

‍

The rest your soul longs for is not a program. It’s a person.

Before you serve, sit.

Before you labor, listen.

Before you work, worship.

Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter).

I walked down to the front, feeling as if I had lead weights attached to my feet, and stood in the space before the platform. As I stood in front of the platform, a tailor named J.D.
