If you were physically unable to get to Jesus, who would carry you?

45But he went out and began to talk freely about it, and to spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but was out in desolate places, and people were coming to him from every quarter.
Mark 2:1-12
1And when he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that he was at home. 2And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door. And he was preaching the word to them. 3And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay. 5And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” 6Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 7“Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you question these things in your hearts? 9Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? 10But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic— 11“I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.” 12And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

14And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.
James 2:15-17
15If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? 17So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Plan your visit.
Hey there! We know what it’s like to walk into a new place — it can be intimidating. We want you to feel right at home when you visit The Brook.

What to expect.
We’re excited to have you join us at The Brook Church! Here’s everything you need to know about what to expect when you visit for a Sunday morning service. Have questions? See our FAQ below.
65 minute Services
A typical service will last about 65 minutes with a mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. Our pastors share a Biblically-based message relevant to real life.
Students & Kids
Our Students (grades 5–8) and Kids Ministries (infants – grade 4) each offer identical, age-appropriate Bible teaching during both Sunday morning services. High school students (grades 9-12) attend our adult worship services.
Family Worship Days
The last Sunday of each month we come together for Family Worship Services (kids + students + adults worshiping together). Kids ministry is available for infants – pre-K only.
