What we do...

Sundays at 9:20am and/or 10:45am children (ages infant through grade 5) take part in age appropriate Bible lessons, music, crafts and fun activities. Discovery Kingdom (DK) helps children connect to God and learn the valuable moral and spiritual lessons of the Bible.

Below is a brief description of our ministry in each age division...

Infants: Trained volunteers care for your children in cleanliness, safety and pray for your children while they're with us. Toys and equipment are cleaned and sanitized each week.

Preschool: In our early preschool classes we begin to introduce children to the content of God's Word. Our volunteers lead children in playful activity and teach Bible stories and spiritual lessons about virtues such as kindness, sharing, respect and love. In our older preschool class kids are taught an age-appropriate lesson from the Bible also through interactive methods.

Elementary (K - 5): At this age kids meet for Children's Church. Children's Church includes an opening large group time that begins with music and then creative-teaching led by a gifted teacher from our church. Next, kids break into age groups for discussion and application. In children's church, kids are taught about Jesus and who God is, how to trust and follow Christ... they learn how to pray, memorize scripture and relate to God in a way consistent with their age and understanding.
